Every year, the arrival of fall is marked at Colorado Springs with a mass hot air balloon ascension. You can go up in one of over 70 balloons accompanied by breakfast and drinks from local vendors that rise in the sky to greet the sun.
Other activities during the Colorado Springs Balloon Festival include skydiving demonstrations, wake-boarding, paddle boarding, chainsaw carving, and donut eating competitions. And, of course, there will be plenty of music and other live entertainment. The day of festival fun ends with amazing hot air balloon glow at dusk.
The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is organized by Hot Apple Productions, LLC in affiliation with Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Company, Inc. and the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation. You can discover amazing Colorado nature and see its vast valleys and mountains from the bird's-eye perspective and glide over water in a colorful balloon.
The main venue of all festivities is the beautiful Memorial Park.
