This delicious seafood delicacy is mainly fried with spinach, cubed onions, garlic, pepper, salt, and of course olive oil—the famous elixir of Greece. Although most tourists come during the summer months, in general, winter is believed to yield better seafood. So, if you really wish to sample the best of Greek squid, come between December and February. Lower prices are also a pleasant bonus in addition to the succulent squid.
