The best time of the year to try traditional food is definitely the Christmas season. One of the most common and popular Christmas foods in Colombia is the delicious buñuelo. It looks like a small deep-fried ball made of corn flour and with cheese inside. These amazing Christmas balls can be enjoyed year-round and very often you can try it with coffee or tea during a meal. However, the best season is Christmas. Buñuelos are very traditional to Coffee regions and in the capital Bogota.
