Sea Sessions Surf and Music Festival is the annual festival in Ireland that combines the unique lifestyle aspects of Music, Surf, Sports, and much more into three days. A weekend of fun music and partying on the scenic backdrop of the Wild Atlantic Way is a unique experience that shouldn't be missed. The stage and camping area are set up on the best Irish surfing spot—Bundoran's Main Beach. The festival showcases a unique surfing lifestyle, music, skating, BMX, beach sports, a Ferris wheel, and more.

LineUp of the Festival

The festival lineup features a diverse range of artists across three days. Friday's performances are exclusively for attendees over 18 years old, showcasing talents like blk. JAZZY, Route 94, Amble, Soulé, Enzo is Burning, and more. On Saturday, those under 18 accompanied by adults can enjoy acts such as CIAN DUCROT, Kingfisher, Fionn Curran, and Jerry Fish, among others. Sunday continues the musical journey for under-18s with headliners like Johnny Marr and Jake Bugg, alongside other exciting acts, including Daire, Cassö, Elaine Mai & Maykay, and Elvana, creating a vibrant and engaging festival experience for all age groups.

Activities

The Skate Zone showcases skate displays, BMX displays, and parkour shows. Beach volleyball and other fun sports like beach tag or barefoot soccer are great options to pass the time during the day. There are also four local surf schools, a bike rental, and lots of fantastic nature all around. Rougey Walk is one of the most scenic trails to be explored in Donegal Bay. A diverse array of on-site vendors at Sea Sessions has been carefully selected to offer a range of high-quality food options, including organic meat and vegetarian, catering to different preferences.

Tickets

Non-Camping 3-Day Passes come in different tiers: Early Bird, currently sold out at €139.95; Tier 1 at €149.95; and Tier 2 at €159.95. For Camping, which includes four nights, Early Bird passes were sold out at €174.95, Tier 1 passes are on sale now for €184.95, and Tier 2 passes are also available at €159.95. Day Tickets are currently on sale, priced at €69.95 for Friday (No Camping), €74.95 for Saturday (No Camping), and €69.95 for Sunday (No Camping).

Campervan Tickets are also available at €75 per campervan, with each passenger required to have a weekend Camping Ticket. For those looking for VIP access, Surfers Bar Upgrades are available for the weekend at €75 each, but it's necessary to have a weekend Ticket to avail of this upgrade.

Location & Parking

Bundoran, the festival's location, is in southern Donegal, approximately 4 miles (7km) away from Ballyshannon and 21 miles (35km) from Sligo, which boasts national rail and bus connections. Direct buses from Dublin will be available for transportation to the event; please refer to the website's 'getting there' section for additional updates. An official car park is just across the road from the campsite.

Sea Sessions Surf and Music Festival always features great music. In previous years, it hosted Walking on Cars, Hudson Taylor, Gavin James, Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Tinie Tempah, Bastille, Seasick Steve, Example, The Coronas, Dizzee Rascal, Bastille, Tinie Tempah, Bastille, and Picture This. Sea Sessions is all about music, surf, and"Mirai" on Wild Atlantic Way—what an excellent beach event over the weekend. In 2012, Bundoran was listed by National Geographic magazine as one of the World's Top 20 Surf Towns.
