Every summer, the NH Bacon & Beer Festival takes place in Merrimack, New Hampshire. If you love bacon and beer, grab this wonderful opportunity to load up with 25 bacon varieties and wash it all down with 150 well-crafted beers by more than 60 breweries. Additionally, you can participate in the Pulled Pork People's Choice Contest and try countless savory bacon dishes. And, of course, live music goes without saying.
Brewery & Restaurant Selection
Hosted at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, the festival features dozens of local and regional breweries, presenting their most delectable brews and spirits. Treat yourself to world-class IPA beer and ales, or dip your toes into something new, like sparkling tequila tea. With such a wide selection, there's something for everyone. After a delicious beer, you might want to treat yourself to a hearty meal, and you can do that right at the venue. North County Smokehouse, Phily's Good Eats, Donali's, and many others will all serve bacon dishes you can sample and other delicacies.
Live Music
Regulars at the festival and favorites of the public, The Slakas will perform at the stage of the New Hampshire Bacon & Beer Festival. They'll entertain the crowd throughout the whole day with covers of legendary rock hits from Led Zeppelin, Journey, Bad Company and Pearl Jam.
Schedule & Location
The event runs at Anheuser-Busch Brewery (Budweiser Brewery Experience) on a Saturday in early June between 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm. People with regular tickets can enter the venue at 1:30 pm, while those with VIP tickets are let in an hour earlier, at 12:30 pm. The Pulled Pork Contest begins at 3 pm and you'll get a chance to vote for your favorite eatery. The Budweiser Brewery Experience is located 3 miles (5 km) from the town center of Merrimack and serves as a picturesque venue for the festival. Majority of the festivities take place outdoors.
Tickets
The general admission tickets to NH Bacon & Beer Festival costs $60, while VIP and driver's options are $100 and $35, respectively. We recommend buying the tickets online since the prices increase by $15–25 at the gate. Since the event involves alcohol, only people 21 years of age and older are allowed to enter. The festival is presented by the High Hopes Foundation, so the funds raised go to a good cause, namely, supporting kids with terminal or chronic diseases.
