The Carolina Panthers Fan Fest is an annual football celebration held at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. It always takes place the week before the first Panthers' preseason game in early August and is a great opportunity to build anticipation for the oncoming NFL season. Panthers fans, adorned in black, blue, and silver colors, from North and South Carolina flock to the stadium, cheering for their favorite football team.

Entertainment Program

The show includes performances by major cheerleading teams. Some of the featured acts from the previous years include TopCats, PurrCussion, Sir Purr, and the Black & Blue Crew. Attendees can also witness the Panthers' practice with individual and seven-on-seven drills. They also have a chance to take a photo with some of the Panthers behind the stadium and dance to their hearts' content to the groovy tracks provided at the venue.

One of the highlights of the Carolina Panthers Fan Fest is quarterback Cam Newton's "the wave" tradition that is repeated every year. Cam joins the audience for the synchronized "wave" when all the fans at the stadium get up on their feet. He shows off complete accord with the Fan Fest crowds. The Fan Fest ends with a spectacular laser and fireworks show.

Fireworks & Laser Show

The most anticipated event of the evening is most definitely the fireworks and laser display, taking place inside the stadium. The fans are given LED bracelets, which light up during the spectacle, making attendees the direct participants of the show. A dazzling myriad of colors and lights will illuminate the sky above the venue, promising a mesmerizing experience that will be remembered for years to come.

FanFest Schedule

Stadium gates usually open for all Panthers fans at about 5:30 pm, with the performances starting at 6 pm. The Panthers' practice normally kicks off at 7 pm, and the fireworks are usually set off at 9:15 pm, at dusk.

Tickets

Admission to the stadium usually costs $5. Proceeds from the festival go to Carolina Panthers Charities, the aim of which is to support underserved communities of North and South Carolina.
