The Lancaster Holiday Festival Parade is one of the main annual events in Lancaster, Ohio. The parade, which always takes place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, begins and ends at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. The event lasts from 10 am until noon. Columbus Street, Main Street, and Broad Street are the best areas to see the Parade.
The Lancaster Christmas Parade features floats, music, and fanfare. Festivities don't stop after the parade. Many viewers head to the Harvest Market, located at Keller Market House, or enjoy a walk around downtown. Lancaster is beautifully decorated for the holidays with shimmering lights and window displays as many stores and restaurants participate in Downtown Lancaster’s Window Decorating Contest.
