The Shambhala Music Festival is one of the most famous annual events known all over the world. Tens of thousands of people come to the Salmo River Ranch in early August to enjoy an awesome electronic music party.
Festival Highlights
The 500-acre ranch is home to six different themed stages. Every year, the theme of the stages changes, and they are given various names. It is definitely one of the must-attend summer festivals in British Columbia. For three days and three nights, all attendees unite as one huge family, enjoying the festivities and entertainment. In 1996, the festival was held for the first time, and since then, it has grown into one of the largest and longest-running electronic music events in Canada.

Admission & Parking
All tickets are General Admission and provide access to the Festival Site from 8 am on Friday, July 26, until Monday, July 29. Early Bird tickets are $525 + taxes and fees, and they include festival access from Friday to Monday, free tent camping, and free parking. General Admission tickets are $549 + taxes and fees, and they offer the same benefits. Upon arrival, ticket holders can choose one of three camping zones: Metta, Starlight, or Sunshine.
Early Entry can be purchased at the ticket gate upon arrival; credit cards and cash are accepted. Shambhala Music Festival is strictly for attendees aged 19 and above, with ID checks mandatory for entry.
Rules & Restrictions
Shambhala Music Festival enforces strict rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Alcohol is strictly prohibited, with any found during searches confiscated and disposed of. Drones are also banned to maintain safety. Additionally, pets are not allowed on-site, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited. Furthermore, the use of generators, including those in RVs, is not permitted. Campfires or any open flames are strictly prohibited on the Salmo River Ranch.
