Page Balloon Regatta typically opens on Thursday with an Education Day at Page schools featuring pilot check-ins. Yes, this event is not only about entertainment—it's also a great learning experience, as you can approach the crew and get some insights into how hot air balloons fly and how the pilots steer them.
The main highlight is still balloon launches, which take place every morning from Friday through Sunday at Lake Powell National Golf Course and John C. Page Memorial Park. Friday and Saturday also offer Balloon Regatta Street Fair, scheduled from the afternoon to late evening. At the fair, you can enjoy live music and treats from food vendors and beer garden. Saturday is the busiest and most popular time. This day is favored for the spectacular Balloon Glow event on Lake Powell Blvd., from Vista Ave. to South Navajo.
