The Royal Highland Show is prized for being the largest agricultural presentation in the UK drawing 140,000 annually who come here to learn something from experienced local farmers and craftsmen and try Scotland's finest foods. The visitors can see craft goods, flowers, and 5,000 animals including poultry, sheep, goats, light and heavy horses, and various cattle bred in the area. But the most delightful showpiece is undoubtedly the food. The show is held every year for a few days in the second half of June.
