Howell Balloon Fest 2024 à Michigan

Howell Ballon Fest ou Michigan Challenge Ballonfest est un événement communautaire annuel, qui rassemble des gens de toute la région pour faire du shopping, manger et profiter des vues des ballons. Il comprend quatre vols avec environ 24 pilotes pendant le week-end, avec lancements dans toute la région de Howell. The highlights of the fest are definitely the hot air balloon launches and balloon glows. Thousands of people come to Howell every year to witness the spectacular display of vibrant balloons floating in the air over the venue. The balloon launches take place from 6:30 am to 8 pm and from 6:30 pm to 8 pm on June 29th and June 30th, but on June 28th, you'll have a chance to see the display only in the evening.

The balloon glow is another spectacular sight that is worth attending this event for. Dozens of balloons are inflated and kept closer to the ground. And as the night falls, it's as if the sky is filled with giant sky lanterns. This magical spectacle takes place on Saturday, June 29th, after the evening balloon launch at dark.

Howell Balloon Fest offers a plethora of other opportunities for amusement, apart from its main centerpiece. If you're looking for a thrill, hop on one of 20 rides in the Wade Shows Carnival at the festival's grounds. Try your luck at Cobra Coaster, Hero Zone, and Sizzler, which are just a few of the many Big Show Amusements attractions. Participation in the carnival requires tickets, with each ride costing about two to five tickets. A single ticket costs $1.25, but you can buy a Daily Armband—an all-day pass to all rides.

For some family-friendly fun, consider stopping by the Family Fun Tent, where your little ones can play to their hearts' content. Agility courses, craft workshops, and shows will make your child's day memorable. You'll also have an opportunity to watch a Car Show, an exhibit of unique cars. It takes place on June 29th from 10 am to 3 pm.

The festival takes place at Howell High School, and the festivities begin on June 28th at 2 pm and last until 11 pm after the fireworks display. On June 29th, you'll have a chance to attend the festival from the early morning at 6:30 am and stay until 11 pm to witness the balloon glow. The last day of the event begins even earlier, at 6 am and lasts until 9 pm, finishing off with balloon launch.

Admission for one day of the event costs $5. However, you can purchase a weekend wristband for $10, which gives you access to all three days of the festival. Children under 3 years old have free admission. If you have a military ID or are a veteran, you'll have an opportunity to enter for free on Sunday, June 30th.
