Le carnaval ouvre à 18h. Nous vous suggérons de contacter les organisateurs si vous avez des questions. Nous avons joint leur site Web dans la section Ressources externes ci-dessous pour faciliter les recherches.

The tradition traces back to 1875 when Antonio Capelli and a group of immigrants prayed at 232 Pine Road before a painting of the Virgin Mary. Their procession marked the beginning of the Feast, which quickly grew, driven by the influx of Italian immigrants. By 1886, it had expanded to Hammonton Lake Park, with St. Joseph Church becoming a central venue. In 1905, the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society was formed, now an independent organization uniting members across Hammonton. Their hall on Mt. Carmel Lane is a testament to this enduring celebration, culminating each year on July 16th with Masses and a grand procession.
