GalaxyCon Raleigh is a popular comic con in North Carolina held every summer. A four-day event dedicated to popular culture brings together actors, artists, writers, cosplayers, entertainers, creators, wrestlers, and thousands of fans. The annual show at the Raleigh Convention Center celebrates comic books, superheroes, Sci-Fi, fantasy, anime, and gaming, offering a variety of family-friendly attractions.

Open Hours

The festival spans multiple days, with event hours: Thursday from 2 pm to 12 am, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 2 am, and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm. Exhibition Hall is open from 2 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, from 10 am to 8 pm on Friday, from 10 am to 8 pm on Saturday, and from 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday.

Events of the Galaxy Con

The Festival is a great chance to meet and connect with celebrities from Star Wars, Daredevil, Star Trek, etc., voice actors, featured creators, gaming experts, pro wrestlers, cosplay guests, writers and comic creators, and fan groups. Attendees can fully engage their fandom with Q&A sessions, autographs, and memorable Photo Ops.

At the festival, guests will explore a world of anime panels, events, and engaging comic creator panels and workshops. GalaxyCon Raleigh features dozens of vendors offering all things popular culture. Visitors can purchase autographed collectibles, like photos, posters, and Funko Pops from movies, animation series, and more.

Activities

Cosplay Competitions allow participants to showcase their creativity and embody beloved characters. In the Cosplay Lounge, guests can meet and take photos with talented cosplayers, adding to the immersive experience. Tattoo Row features skilled artists ready to bring tattoo ideas to life, allowing attendees to express their fandom permanently.

After-dark programming keeps the excitement going with themed parties and raves, such as the Cosplay Cabaret or The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Gaming enthusiasts can engage in tabletop and video gaming adventures. The Family Zone offers a range of curated activities for families, including craft-making, sensory play, and art projects, providing a fun and memorable experience for all ages.

Tickets

Single Day Passes are available for purchase for each day of the event, with Thursday priced at $40, Friday at $60, Saturday at $75, and Sunday at $65. If attendees wish to enjoy multiple days of festivities, Multi-Day Passes are also an option, with the 3-Day Pass priced at $135 and the 4-Day Pass at $145. Deluxe Passes are offered, with the 3-Day Deluxe Pass priced at $160 and the 4-Day Deluxe Pass at $170. For the ultimate VIP treatment and access to exclusive amenities, the 4-Day Premium Reserve VIP Pass is available for $2500.

Children aged 5 to 9 can get multi-day passes for $35. You can purchase passes for $20 on Saturday or Sunday. Children between 5 and 9 years old can enter for free on Thursday and Friday. Children aged 4 and under can enter for free with a paying adult, with a limit of up to 3 children per adult.
