Western Idaho Fair 2024

La Western Idaho Fair se realiza cada agosto en la Expo Idaho, en Boise, Idaho. Son diez días de entretenimiento y muchas actividades. También hay exhibiciones de agricultura y manufactura. La feria atrae a cerca de 250.000 personas cada año. La entrada cuesta $9 para adultos y $6 para niños.

The festival kicks off at noon on weekdays and 11 am on weekends, running until 11 pm. All concerts start at 8 pm and run to 10 pm. Scheduled activities are planned throughout the day.

Una de las mayores atracciones de la feria es el parque de atracciones. El Skyride ofrece a los visitantes una vista panorámica desde lo alto y es la atracción más visitada por más de 15.000 personas cada temporada. La atracción dura entre 8 y 10 minutos y parece a un teleférico. Otras atracciones son el tobogán The Himalaya up-down-around y la montaña rusa Wacky Worm. Enjoy thrilling shows like Violin on Fire and Sea Lion Splash, or be amazed by hypnotist Chris Mabrey and performer Roberto The Magnificent. With activities for kids, animal adventures, like Sea Lion Splash and Otter Adventure, and live music, the fair promises a day filled with fun and excitement. Other activities include Idaho Antique Power & Farm Equipment, No Harm on the Farm activity for kids, Otter Adventure, Robocars, All-Alaskan Kids Pedal Pull, Sea Lion Splash, Strolling Piano, Dinos & Dragons, Mike Walker's "Lasting Impressions" show, Kids Jumpin' Jamboree, Strolling DJ.

The fair showcases the best of the best across various categories, from fine arts to agriculture. Visitors can admire the displays of Rabbit Meat Pen Judging, the Mule & Donkey Show, and the Trail & Versatility Ranch event. They can also observe the judging process at the Large Animal Judging Contest and enjoy the performances at the Dog Show. The fair offers opportunities to appreciate the precision of Cavy Quality and Small Animal Judging, and to learn about the intricacies of Llama & Alpaca Fleece Judging. Attendees can also witness Beef Cattle Breeding Classes, the skillful handling at Sheep Breeding Classes, and the expertise displayed in Dairy Goat Showmanship. Additionally, they can discover the charm of Pocket Pets.

La feria también cuenta con un escenario de entretenimiento en vivo con tribunas. Todos los conciertos comienzan a las 7:30 p.m. La entrada está incluida con el acceso a la feria. Cada temporada, se ofrecen cuatro conciertos de música country, rock y rock'n'roll.

Adults aged 12-61 can enter for $10, while seniors aged 62 and over receive a discounted rate of $9. Youth aged 6-11 can join in the fun for $8, and children aged five and under get in for free. The Carnival Wristband offers unlimited daily rides, including the Skyride, for just $32. The "Double the Fun" package includes two admission tickets and 2 Carnival wristbands for $75, making it the perfect option for families or friends wanting to make lasting memories together. Guests can enjoy the Grandstand Concerts for free with fair admission. For those who prefer reserved seating, tickets are available for $35, ensuring you have the best view of the performances.
