Le Marathon International de Californie (CIM) est une course sur route de 26 miles (42 km) à Sacramento, en Californie du Nord. Il a un parcours pittoresque qui suit un chemin historique des chercheurs d'or. Il commence au barrage de Folsom, traverse la banlieue de Sacramento, et la ligne d'arrivée est installée au Capitole de l'État. Le parcours est assez facile et descend légèrement, commençant à une altitude de 366 pieds et se terminant à une altitude de 26 pieds.

The California International Marathon (CIM) features a scenic course that has remained unchanged for 40 years, starting in Folsom’s picturesque foothills and ending at the historic California State Capitol. The route follows a historic gold miners' path, beginning at Folsom Dam and weaving through suburban Sacramento before concluding at the State Capitol. This unique landscape, combined with the race's slight downhill gradient, makes it an ideal setting for both seasoned runners and newcomers alike.

The registration fees for the California International Marathon (CIM) are as follows: $180 for the Economy category, $200 for the Standard category, and $375 for those supporting a charity.

The CIM Expo is a highlight of the California International Marathon (CIM) weekend, featuring interactive exhibits, live entertainment, expert speaker panels, and official CIM merchandise. This annual event showcases the latest designs in running gear, shoes, and developments in sports, fitness, and nutrition. Additionally, the Expo serves as the packet pick-up location for all marathon and relay participants, providing runners the chance to network with CIM Pace Team leaders. The Expo will be open on Friday, December 6, from 12 pm to 7 pm and on Saturday, December 7, from 9 am to 5 pm.

Le premier Marathon International de Californie a été organisé en 1983 par le marathonien John Mansoor et l'entrepreneuse Sally Edwards. Il a servi de Championnat National de Marathon des États-Unis pour les hommes en 1984, pour les femmes en 1984, 1985, 1989 et 1993, ainsi qu'en 2017 et 2018.
