Spring in New York usually brings less humid and moderate weather, perfect for any activity. However, March is considered to be highly unpredictable. Snow and cold are still possible at this time due to freezing winds coming from Canada.
April is much warmer, but it can be rainy, so an umbrella is a must at this time. In May the rain stops and beautiful weather sets in. However, during this month there can already be a few occasional heat waves brought by ocean winds from Mexico.
