The Rugged Maniac Kitchener is an obstacle course event that takes place in at the Chicopee Ski Club, Kitchener, Ontario. The race first took place in 2015 drawing about 4,000 participants. The game features 25 obstacles over a length of 5 km (3.1 mi). Imagine going down a three-story water slide, jumping on trampolines and through fire. The Rugged Maniac will definitely wake up your inner child.
The obstacle course opens at 9 a.m., but participants have to follow a specific start time that is written on their tickets as each time slot is limited to just 200 people. The Rugged Maniac Kitchener ends with a massive festival with plenty of beer and entertainment. The party starts at 8:30 a.m. and will last through the afternoon. There will be a DJ on the main stage, booths with free stuff, interactive games, and lots of food to keep maniacs fueled!
