Spring in Malta 2025

The Maltese islands are particularly beautiful during the spring months. The weather is warm and sunny and is often named the best time of the year. The sea is not as warm as in summer, but it's already suitable for swimming. Spring is a season for religious festivities. Holy Week is one not to miss, especially the Good Friday procession or the procession of Risen Christ which takes place in almost every town in Malta. Don't skip walking trips inspired by the classical architecture and beautiful natural landscapes, especially in Gozo. You'll have a chance to learn more about the island's vast history visiting Mdina and Valletta, or explore some of the island's more "modern towns" such as Sliema and St Julian's. Admire the traditional colourful fishing boats before stopping for a coffee or an ice cream in one of Malta's many authentic cafes.
