Even though England receives more sunshine than other parts of the UK, summers here are still cooler than on the continent. Storms and frequent rains occur mainly in the second half of the summer. And the hottest month is July, when the temperature rises to 30°C.
But generally, moderate summer weather provides great oportunities to spend time outdoors. It attracts the greatest number of tourists to England, flooding cities and coastal regions of the country. The English themselves prefer to leave their houses during summer and go to warmer coasts
