Las Vegas lies in a desert subtropical climate zone, so summer here is long and hot. Sometimes the hot weather starts as early as April and ends as late as October. Thanks to 20% humidity, the summer in Las Vegas is not so hard to bear.
The air in summer is dry but tolerable. In the shade, the temperature sometimes rises up to +50°C (122°F). The hottest month is July when the average temperature is +41°C (105°F) in the afternoon. It gets slightly cooler in August. Generally, the hottest time from June to August is not the best time for visiting the city.
