Best time: September, October, November

Autumn

September is still a lot like summer. Thunderstorms are quite common. There are ten rainy days per month. Temperatures remain pleasantly warm. Late September brings the fall colours to the city’s parks and outskirts.

Foliage colours are particularly awesome in October when the leaves are still on the trees. The temperatures are cooler than in September—autumn is felt in the air. Mid-October marks the closure of the boating season.

November is less favourable for a visit to the city, as trees drop the colourful leaves. Moreover, this is deemed the rainiest month of the year, quite cold, sometimes seeing the first frosts. However, it rarely snows in November.
