The weather in spring in Switzerland is really unpredictable. The possibility of summerlike weather in March is the same as the possibility of snow in May. But usually the snow starts to melt by the end of March. As a result, lots of waterfalls become very affluent and the meadows start to sprout and turn green. The peaks remain covered in snow all year round but the bottom of the Alps is full of wildflowers and is perfect for hiking. It’s also tourist off-season so you can expect lower prices and having lots of the sights to yourself.
