The dry season in the north of Vietnam, including Hanoi, Halong Bay, Cuc Phuong, Mai Chau, Ninh Binh, Sa Pa, Ha Giang and Bac Ha, is often considered to be the most convenient time for enjoying the region. Trekking is best due to the dry and cool weather, and the best months for that would be October through November. It might get also chilly during December through early March, but this is a nice time to experience snowfalls in beautiful Sapa.
