Autumn in Ireland 2025
A great time to be outdoors despite of some rainfall
Best time: September, October, November
Ireland is called the Emerald Island for a reason. While it’s green year-round, in autumn it tends to wrap into beautiful warm hues and create picture-postcard sight everywhere. An interesting thing is that the autumn colours aren’t as widespread in Ireland as in other countries and some leaves and plants remain green. The weather is equally unpredictable as in spring with a high possibility of rainfalls. And you need a sweater and waterproof boots as well. It’s also a mid-season for travellers and the prices are lower than in summer.
