Every spring and autumn, Manualmente Fiera or the Manual Ability Fair takes place in Turin‘s Lingotto Fiere building, a former Fiat factory that was turned into exhibition space. Also, in February, MalpensaFiere in Busto Arsizio hosts the winter edition of Manualmente with the emphasis on female creativity. The few-day fair includes hundreds of workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, seminars, and master-classes enhancing creativity and manual arts. Manualmente is considered one of the most important events of the year in the hand-made industry.

The main Manualmente themes are sewing, embroidery, patchwork, dolls, decoupage, jewelry, crochets, embossing, engraving, scrapbooking, decorating, and food presentations. If you are passionate about mosaics, origami, pottery, needlecraft, knitting, and quilting, you will definitely have a lot to learn and see. Everything that you need for working with your hands will be presented by national and international producers and distributors.

Hundreds of stalls showcase various crafts and arts featuring professional makers and amateurs side by side. This is a true paradise for all makers, located in a unique space, in one of the most modern buildings in Turin—Lingotto Fiere. Be prepared to meet many professional designers and celebrities, as well as, thousands of handmade crafts enthusiasts.

MalpensaFiere Congress Center in Busto Arsizio is about 1.5-hour drive from Turin, so even if you are in the city for a short visit, you can easily drive there for visiting some workshop and exploring the world of handmade creativity.
