The Fall Diddley Craft Show is an annual event at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Belvidere, Illinois, held every October since 1986. The show welcomes around 20,000 attendees over the weekend.

Event Highlights

Presented by the Mental Health Resource League (MHRL) for McHenry County, the craft show features around 350 vendors set up in tents and buildings. These include crafters, food tents, and the MHRL Bakery with their signature Elegant Farmer pies. Visitors can bring all their family and enjoy exploring the wide array of offerings together.

Schedule

The 39th Annual Fall Diddley show will take place on October 12th, 2024, from 9 am to 5 pm, and October 13th, 2024, from 9 am to 4 pm.

Entrance

Gate admission is $10 (cash only), with free designated parking. All net proceeds from Fall Diddley are donated to 13 McHenry County agencies that support mental health services.

Location

The Boone County Fairgrounds offer facilities for a wide range of events, including auto shows, craft fairs, ethnic festivals, flower and garden shows, livestock shows and auctions, rodeos, flea markets, and more. Visitors can enjoy commercial exhibit halls, horse show facilities, livestock facilities, camping, and more. The fairgrounds are home to the Boone County Fair, held every August. Located in Belvidere, the Boone County Fairgrounds are about 74 miles (119 km) northwest of Chicago, just over an hour's drive, and 13 miles (21 km) east of Rockford, IL.
