One of the unique trade events in Atlanta, the annual Blade Show is the biggest showcase of the cutlery industry. Featuring over one thousand exhibitors, the show attracts hundreds of knifemakers and knife enthusiasts to Cobb Galleria (2 Galleria Pkwy SE, Atlanta).

Blade Show Events

During the event, guests can also visit the Bade University class to learn more about this industry from professionals. It is the best place to see antique knives, check out manufacturer booths, and attend "Super Seminars." Blade Show guests can attend a free demo featuring the Balisong Flipping Championships, Blade Sports World Championship Cutting Competition, collecting seminars, knife sharpening, self-defense classes, and much more.

Blade Show, which was created and sponsored by Blade magazine, hosts the BLADE Magazine Awards and BladeSports World Championship Cutting Competition. It also features the American Bladesmith Society Annual Convention, a Knifemakers' Guild Section.

Show Hours and Tickets

Blade Show gates at Cobb Galleria will be open for visitors on Friday from 11 am to 6 pm, on Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and on Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at the following prices: a Single-Day Pass costs $30, and a 3-Day Pass costs $70. Children 12 and under can enter for free. Guests of the event also need to buy tickets to some show they want to attend.

Parking

Parking at Cobb Galleria costs $10 per day. Payment is only possible by credit card.

Blade Show History

The Blade Show was held for the first time in 1982 in Cincinnati, Ohio. It got its present-day name and location in 1993. Every year, the Blade Show adds new people to the "Cutlery Hall of Fame," which includes knifemakers, collectors, and other people who contribute to the knife-making industry. Blade Magazine is the world's oldest and most profound knife magazine that has been published since 1973. It was initially called American Blade, with Walter “Blackie” Collins being both editor and publisher.
