Every spring, the Shaky Knees Music Festival takes place in Central Park in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Featuring over 60 bands every year, Shaky Knees focuses on indie, indie folk, country, and rock music hosting world-renowned stars and emerging artists.

The Shaky Knees Music Festival's goal on its inauguration in 2013 was to bring indie music to Atlanta. In addition to music, the three-day event features food trucks that can offer something for the pickiest eaters from traditional southern barbeque to vegetarian-friendly corn dogs. Infrastructure is well-thought with cell-phone charging stations, official festival merch, and fun photo booths to keep everyone tuned and happy. In 2015, the festival was named one of 10 Best Music Festivals by USA Today and Rolling Stone magazines.

Previous lineups of the festival included LCD Soundsystem, Band of Horses, The Lumineers, The National, Modest Mouse, The Strokes, Alabama Shakes, The Avett Brothers, Wilco, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Gaslight Anthem, Spoon, Mastodon, Dropkick Murphys, Iron & Wine, Old Crow Medicine Show, Florence and the Machine, Jane's Addiction, The Head and the Heart, Explosions in the Sky, The XX, Phoenix, Cage the Elephant, Pixies, Portugal, The Man, Sylvan Esso, and many others.
