Electric Forest Festival is an annual multi-genre music festival, held at the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, Michigan, over a long weekend in late June. The centerpiece of this extravaganza is located in the middle of Sherwood Forest, which transforms at night into a colorfully lit wonderland, pulsing with electronic and jam band music. 2024 Lineup
In 2024, headliners of the festival include Canadian singer Nelly Furtado, Pretty Lights, also known as electronic music artist Derek Vincent Smith, American DJ John Summit, American dubstep DJ Subtronics, Canadian DJ Excision, and an American jam band The String Cheese Incident. In addition, the festival will host Belgian DJ Charlotte de Witte, Ludacris, Australian house music producer Dom Dolla, The Disco Biscuits, Knock2, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Ben Bohmer, Seven Lions, G Jones, Hiatus Kaiyote, Sara Landry, and many others.
Festival Passes
Electric Forest festival pass includes camping and admission. The general admission camping wristband is $520. It includes 4-day festival admission and campground access. General admission group camping is $95. A four-day vehicle pass is $85. A four-day RV pass is $400 ($850 with power).
Camping
The festival grounds are equipped with several campgrounds, including VIP options, offering direct access to Ranch Arena. You can bring along water supplies, but water filling stations will also be available throughout campgrounds. If you are not a camp person, consider booking a stay nearby from the accommodations map. Festival's history
Electric Forest Festival debuted under the name Rothbury Festival in 2008. In 2011, it was renamed to Electric Forest. Produced by Madison House Presents and Insomniac Events, the festival draws about 50,000 attendees each year. In 2017, it was nominated for Festival of the Year by the Electronic Music Awards.
