Electric Forest Festival is an annual multi-genre music festival, held at the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, Michigan, over a long weekend in late June. The festival grounds are equipped with several campgrounds, including VIP options, offering direct access to Ranch Arena. Electric Forest Festival debuted under the name Rothbury Festival in 2008. In 2011, it was renamed to Electric Forest. Produced by Madison House Presents and Insomniac Events, the festival draws about 50,000 attendees each year. In 2017, it was nominated for Festival of the Year by the Electronic Music Awards.
