Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival 2024 in Pennsylvania

Sample the best of Pennsylvania wines in the historical city of Gettysburg

Dates: September 7–8, 2024

Gettysburg is not only famous for its historical significance in American history—it's also a prime destination for wine enthusiasts who want to find their next favorite wine. Located within Adams County, home to the first winery in Gettysburg, the town is filled to the brim with festivities the weekend after Labor Day. Groovy live music, dancing, numerous vendor booths and a close-knit community atmosphere are just some of the aspects you'll experience at the Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival.

Wineries & Other Vendors

The main drawing point of the festival is, of course, the variety of wine and brews offered by 27 distilleries and wineries from all over Pennsylvania. Some of the vendors include Woody Lodge Winery LLC, Timber Ridge Winery, Triple Nickel Distillery, Stonekeep Meadery and Wine Cellars, Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery, and Shade Mountain Winery & Vineyards. Fruit wines, meads, spirits from natural juices, and more will be available at this year's festival. Numerous culinary delights will serve as great appetizers for the beverages.

Music Lineup

Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival hosts an impressive lineup of local musicians from Pennsylvania and beyond, featuring regular festival stars and some new faces, ready to entertain the crowd. This year, the lineup includes Gary Jay & The FIRE, R&B artist D-Bo, jazz and funk performers The Uptown Band, Andy Mowatt Frequency Movement, 176ers Dueling Pianos, and indie rock artists from Maryland, The Sidleys.

Schedule

The festivities span from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturday and from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday. The wine sampling kicks off at noon. Music begins at noon and lasts until 5:30 pm on Saturday and 4:30 pm on Sunday, with each artist performing approximately an hour or an hour and a half.

Tickets

Advance general admission to the festival costs $30, while a two-day admission costs $50. Designated drivers or youth between 13 and 20 years old can purchase a ticket for $15. Children under 12 can enter for free. Group discount is available for groups of 20 or more people, with tickets priced at $20. If you'd like to put up a tent, you can do so in a designated area and by purchasing a tent ticket, which costs $55 for one day and $75 for two days.

Location

Previously held at Gateway Gettysburg Complex, the festival relocated to a Granite Hill Camping Resort, a spacious and gorgeous venue. The resort also offers accommodation, which is perfect for guests of the city. The venue offers additional accommodation packages, which include festival admission and camping for a family of four. The cost of these packages ranges from $168 to $230.
