Mountain Music Festival is an annual event held every summer at ACE Adventure Resort in Oak Hill, West Virginia. The festival features over 25 bands against a scenic mountain backdrop. It also offers excellent food, vendors, visual artists, several workshops, and much more. Festivalgoers can enjoy camping near the festival grounds as well as adventures like whitewater rafting and kayaking in the New River Gorge. This is Appalachia’s destination music festival where outdoor adventure is paired with your favourite music.
The festival was founded in 2014 and has proven a big success ever since. Appalachia’s best music festival has an eclectic approach to music featuring Americana, rock, blues, funk, and other genres. Mixed lineups included Tyler Childers, The Floozies, Big Something, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Arlo McKinley & The Lonesome Sound, People’s Blues of Richmond, The Works, Justin Wells and more.
Outdoor activities at the Mountain Music Festival include mountain biking, rock climbing, and hiking. In addition to that, there is a waterpark on site. ACE Adventure Resort, covering 0.6 hectares (1,500 acres), is nestled in the heart of the New River Gorge outside of Fayetteville. The Resort provides comfortable cabins and bathrooms with showers so the camping experience is taken to the next level.
