West Virginia Pumpkin Park was birthed in 1986, and since then, it has expanded into one of the state's largest affairs celebrating the splendor of the fall season. The attendance hits about 40,000 yearly. The visitors receive their portion of joy, whereas local farmers get an excellent platform for selling their produce. So, the WV Pumpkin Festival​ is a win-win occasion.

WV Pumpkin Park is tucked in Milton, a town in Cabell County. The cozy venue sits between the cities of Huntington and Charleston, along the I-64 corridor. So to get there, you have to take exit 28 to Route 60 and follow right at McDonalds/Wendys. Then, turn left at Rite Aide Pharmacy and continue onto Bill Blenko Drive, proceed across the bridge rightwards by VFW, turn left at Blenko Glass, and once again for your destination to the festival grounds.

As for parking, you can find plenty of free lots at Milton Performing Arts Center, next to WV Pumpkin Park. But make sure you've bagged a bed before you arrive. Book as early as possible as lodgings evaporate during the festival times. The hotels nearby are showcased on the accommodations map.
