The Cedarburg Wine and Harvest Festival, proudly sponsored by Summit Credit Union, invites attendees to join in the fall celebrations in Cedarburg's charming old downtown. This spectacular event promises a delightful weekend filled with a beautiful fusion of tastes and entertainment for everyone to enjoy. With a variety of activities, food, and performances, the festival is free of charge and offers something for everyone to savor and celebrate.
Schedule of the Fest
On the first day of the celebration, festival doors open at 10 am and stay so until 6 pm, with live music on the Gruber Law Office Main Stage until 8:30 pm. On the second day, you can enjoy the event only until 5 pm, but it still gives you plenty of time to have fun.
Events & Activities
Visitors join the crowd in the lively environment, enjoying activities for all ages. Browse through a fascinating selection of arts and crafts meticulously made by local artisans, savor the exquisite range of food and beverages from local vendors, and enjoy award-winning wine by the glass, bottle, or case from Cedar Creek Winery. Relish in the event's exciting traditions, such as the cherished Pumpkin Regatta and the Cedar Creek Winery Grape Stomp. The Great Grape Stomp, always a festival favorite, features a Kids Stomp and an Adults Stomp at 1 pm and 3 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The hilarious Pumpkin Regatta launches on Cedar Creek right at the Settlement on Sunday at 2 pm.
History of Cedarburg Wine and Harvest Festival
Cedarburg, a town built between the 1840s and early 1900s along Cedar Creek, is celebrated for its charm and beauty. It was listed in Architectural Digest's Most Beautiful Main Streets Across America and designated a National Historic District in 1986. The history of Festivals of Cedarburg began with the Wine & Harvest Festival, started in 1973 at the Cedar Creek Settlement by resident and entrepreneur Jim Pape. Since then, the organization has engaged communities, non-profits, and businesses to create best-in-class festivals and events, cementing Cedarburg's reputation as one of the nation's top historic towns.
