Osceola Wheels & Wings Featured in
Osceola Wheels & Wings is a lasting tradition, running annually on the Saturday after Labor Day at L.O. Simenstad Municipal Airport in Oseola, Wisconsin. The schedule of events is comprised of a fly-in pancake breakfast, aircraft exhibitions, and most of all—an air show and a car & motorcycle show. Diverse entertainment and free admission lure about 8,000 enthusiasts to the river town's airport, which opens to the public at 7 am. As for snacks, don't worry—local vendors will keep you full and content at the food and beer garden. Also, music from the 50s to the contemporary surely adds to the overall experience.
One of Osceola Wheels & Wings' main highlights is a Classic Car Show, featuring from 700 to 800 entries. The car & motorcycle show exhibits classic cars along with vintage ones. You will explore custom and muscle cars, hot rods, rat rods, imports, and modern classics—all colors and sizes imaginable. Cycle buffs can appreciate a wide variety of motorcycles, presented at the show. Note that the judging starts at 9 am, and the car show awards are scheduled for 1 pm.
