Great Pumpkin Festival 2024 in Hawaii
Don't miss this event if you want to feel the real American Halloween atmosphere
Dates: October 25–26, 2024
Pumpkin is not the most exotic thing that you can see on Oahu island, but Halloween is one of the most popular holidays here and is always greatly anticipated by children. So, don't forget to get a pumpkin and have some farm-style fun.
Festival Highlights
Great Pumpkin Festival is an annual East Honolulu's favorite family-friendly and community-oriented fall event hosted by Holy Nativity School. Music, delicious food, and Halloween decorations await you. Visitors can bring a knife to carve a funny or a scary face.
Program
This year's program includes kiddie games, a pumpkin patch, an epic petting zoo, a bake sale, a plant sale, food trucks, costume contests with prizes, and so much more. Beloved festival tradition, Flick-or-Treat Drive-In Movies, also returns for one weekend (October 25-26). Moviegoers can flaunt their creative costumes, indulge in delicious snacks, and enjoy a film under the stars. Tickets are $45 per vehicle.
The Gourd Eats Market
New this year is the Gourd Eats Market. Located on the gym side of campus, it is a community-designed space that offers country store items, pumpkins, lawn games, and an assortment of food trucks. This area will operate from 8 am to 2 pm on October 26. It will be free to enter, making it the perfect opportunity to invite neighbors, friends, and extended family members to come and enjoy the festivities together.
Dates
The 12th Annual Great Pumpkin Festival is scheduled for October 26, featuring The Gourd Eats Market alongside the festival itself, while the Flick-or-Treat Drive-In Movies will take place on October 25 and 26, with organizers anticipating over 2,000 attendees for this fun-filled celebration.
Entrance
Entry requires tickets. Admission is $35 per person. The Great Pumpkin Festival relies on the support from generous partners in the Holy Nativity Community. So, it is also a fundraising event.
