Laniakea or Turtle Beach in Hawaii 2024

Oahu island is famous for its beautiful nature and wildlife. If you are interested in spending a day on the beach with turtles, go to the north shore of the island. Just an hour drive from Waikiki is Laniakea beach which is not just beautiful but also famous for its turtles. Attracted by the algae, a couple of dozen turtles always enjoy the warm sun on the sand or in the shallow waters.

It's best to come to this beach during spring, summer or fall when the waves are not too big. Bear in mind that turtles​ are out only when the sun is bright, and the weather is clear. So come early to see as many as possible.
