Festival Program
The exciting festivities include several peach-themed events, including Peach Taste-Off on September 5th at 5:30 pm. Amateur bakers, professional cooks, and even children can compete for the title of the best peach recipe, each in their own category. Numerous baked goods made from fresh peaches are presented at the festival, enthusing all attendees. Peach shortcakes is another classic dessert, which can be tasted during the eating contest.
Additionally, festivalgoers have a chance to ride exciting carnival rides, like the Ferris Wheel, carousels, and many others. Each ride requires carnival tickets or a wristband, which you can purchase either in advance in locations throughout Lewiston and Niagara or on-site. The coronation ceremony of the Peach Festival's Queen annually takes place on Sunday. The festival organizes a similar children's contest, with an adorable name Peach Fuzz & Blossom. Children between ages of 5 and 7 can participate.
