Patterson Apricot Fiesta 2023

Check out a long-standing tradition of the Apricot Capital of the World

The rural city of Patterson, California, holds the nickname of Apricot Capital of the World for a reason. The area yields nearly 95,000 tons of this fruit every year! Everyone can join in the annual Apricot Fiesta, a sweet harvest festival, which started in the early 1970s.

Patterson Apricot Fiesta takes place over a weekend at the beginning of June and offers plenty of delicious desserts and drinks. In addition to food, craft, and commercial vendors, you can enjoy special events, such as a community parade, a corn hole tournament, an arm wrestling tournament, a car show, and a firework display. The kids' area is also there to keep the little ones entertained too.

Besides the Apricot Fiesta, Patterson also hosts a number of amusing events in late May, on the weekend before the main celebration. You can attend such popular happenings as Wine & Cheese and Miss Patterson Meet & Greet, or the Apricot Fiesta Bake Contest.

If you need more information, please visit the event's official website or Facebook, listed in the External Resources below. Also, you might contact the organizers via phone 209-892-3118 or email them at
