Svitlana has always had a passion for travel, which translated into her life-long love for languages. First, she pursued a degree in Germanic languages and then continued onto translation. Her work with charity organizations like The HALO Trust and Americares is something she is especially fond of. These ventures gave her an opportunity to contribute to the promotion of global environmental issues.

When it comes to her travel preferences, Svitlana has always enjoyed hiking with her friends and family. Walking several miles up the mountain to discover a magnificent view from above is an extremely rewarding experience and is worth every blister from the journey. Not having a strict itinerary is also one of Svitana’s travel policies, because she’s more of a wanderer and enjoys exploring her destination on the spot. While she’s drawn to nature’s wonders and scenic countrysides, the historical landmarks in the bustling cities are also on her bucket list.

One of Svitlana’s lifetime goals is to go on a road trip around Europe and visit Japan, more specifically, its countryside. Towns like Hakone in the Kanagawa prefecture have an indescribable charm she would like to explore.
