Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival is a four-day music event held every March at a farm in Okeechobee, Florida. The festival grounds occupy an 800-acre (323 ha) property in Sunshine Grove, attracting about 100,000 attendees.

Festival Highlights

2025 Edition

The Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival won't be returning in 2025, the organizers announced. After taking a break in 2024 to reorganize, they shared on social media that they needed more time. Back in August 2023, the festival said it would take a year off in 2024 to plan for a more diverse, multi-genre lineup. They also introduced new initiatives to involve fans in helping shape the future of the festival, focusing on creating a community-driven experience.

Previous lineups of the Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival included Robert Plant, STS9, Ween, Flaming Lips, The Roots, The Lumineers, Kings Of Leon, TAUK, The Revivalists, Bassnectar, and Pretty Lights.

History

Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival was held for the first time in March 2016, featuring headliners like Kendrick Lamar, Bassnectar, Skrillex, and Mumford & Sons. The festival produced by Soundslinger, LLC, was successful from its first year.

Location

Located in the heart of Florida's countryside, Sunshine Grove is a scenic 830-acre private estate that boasts vast grasslands, dense pine and palmetto forests, and wide lakes and waterways, crafting a truly enchanting tropical country landscape. Situated in Okeechobee County, the grove is just under two and a half hours away from South Florida's major cities, including Orlando, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale.
