The best time to visit Alicante is from April to June and September to October. During these months, temperatures range from 68°F to 82°F (20°C to 28°C), perfect for beach activities and sightseeing. April and May offer comfortable weather with fewer tourists, making it ideal for a relaxed experience and participation in local festivals. September is also great as crowds diminish, yet the sea remains warm for swimming. By October, the weather is mild, although occasional rain is possible. In contrast, July and August can be very hot, often exceeding 86°F (30°C), resulting in crowded beaches. For those preferring cooler temperatures, the shoulder seasons are recommended. Winter months (December to February) feature milder temperatures of 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F), attracting budget travelers due to lower prices on accommodations and flights.
