Every October, the Calgary Tattoo & Arts Festival gathers over 700 top Canadian and international artists at the BMO Centre, Stampede Park. This vibrant event features endless entertainment, contests, retail exhibits, and tattooing sessions. With special guests from TV's Ink Master, NY Ink, Jasmine Rodriguez from Tattoo Nightmares, and Lucky Diamond Rich, the festival continues to attract a growing number of attendees each year.

Schedule

The Calgary Tattoo & Arts Festival spans over three days with varied hours of operation. It begins on Friday, October 18th, opening its doors from 4 pm until midnight. The festivities continue into Saturday, October 19th, welcoming visitors from noon until 11 pm. Finally, on Sunday, October 20th, the festival wraps up with hours from noon to 6 pm.

The Calgary Tattoo Convention stands out as a premier event, featuring a major international tattoo contest renowned for its lucrative cash prizes and the pursuit of glory among participants. Spanning an expansive 100,000 square feet of exhibits, it holds the distinction of being Canada's most impressive gathering of its kind. Friday night at the Calgary Tattoo Convention is exclusively dedicated to adults, offering a vibrant atmosphere filled with ample opportunities to enjoy drinks and entertainment. It's a special evening tailored for adults to immerse themselves in the artistic and social aspects of tattoo culture.

Tickets & Parking

Admission to the Calgary Tattoo & Arts Festival varies by day. Friday features an Adult Night with entry priced at $35. Saturday admission is also $35, while Sunday admission is slightly lower at $30. A Weekend Pass, granting access to both Saturday and Sunday, costs $90. For children aged 12 and under, admission is free on both Saturday and Sunday. A VIP Pass is available for $100. This pass includes access to the Adult Night on Friday and allows for 1-hour early admission on both Saturday and Sunday. There is limited parking available at Stampede Park.
