Every October, over 450 of the best Canadian and international artists gather at the BMO Centre, Stampede Park, to take part in the Calgary Tattoo & Arts Festival. The weekend consists of endless entertainment, contests, retail exhibits, and, of course, tattooing. With special guests from TV’s Ink Master, NY Ink, Jasmine Rodriguez from Tattoo Nightmares, and the world’s most tattooed man, Lucky Diamond Rich, hence no wonder why the attendance of the festival keeps growing.
The highlight of the Calgary Tattoo Convention is a major international competition for cash, prizes, and glory. With 100,000 square feet of exhibits, this is indeed the most impressive event of its kind in Canada.
