Country Thunder is a music festival that hosts several events in North America each year, operating festivals in Arizona and Wisconsin, as well as Saskatchewan and Alberta. Launched in August 2016, Country Thunder Alberta takes place in Prairie Winds Park, Calgary. Past headliners included Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Thomas Rhett, Big & Rich, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Toby Keith, and Dierks Bentley.

Country Thunder offers entertainment on multiple stages. The biggest acts take place on the main stage, while the side stage is reserved for local artists. The three-day event is a mix of amazing live shows by headliners, 90s country stars and emerging singers. Country music is perfect for summer occasions, and fans don't hesitate to sing along!

2024 Lineup

On Friday, August 16, Country Thunder features Canadian country music artist. Dallas Smith and The Reklaws, a Canadian country music duo from North Dumfries, Ontario. The public will also see Andrew Hyatt, a Canadian country singer-songwriter from Sudbury, Ontario, a Canadian female country duo, Nice Horse, and Tommy Charles from Chattanooga, Tennessee. On Saturday, August 17, the festival will host an American country music legend HARDY, as well as Elle King, ERNEST, Lonestar, JJ Shiplett, and Morgan Klaiber. On Sunday, August 18, the lineup features legendary Luke Combs, an Americana band from Texas Flatland Cavalry, Meghan Patrick, Jake Worthington, Hailey Benedict, and Canadian singer Mariya Stokes.

Weekend General Admission to the festival is $300 plus fees. Various special access are available from $400.
