Spruce Meadows Christmas Market 2024 in Calgary

Every year, the Spruce Meadows Christmas Market offers Calgarians a place to welcome the holiday season and combine shopping experience with entertainment, great food, and unique arts and crafts. Both adults and children will appreciate holiday entertainment, choir and instrumental performances, and impressive dance displays without the risk of freezing themselves. Over 70 kilometers of Christmas lights add to the festive atmosphere.

Location

Spruce Meadows is an equestrian center near Calgary in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Every holiday season, Spruce Meadows hosts over 190 vendors in the Riding Hall, Equi-Plex, Gallery on the Green, Reindeer Alley, and Candy Cane Lane. The outdoor areas of the Spruce Meadows Christmas Market include Founders Plaza and Twin-Peaks with many individual vendors around the grounds, entertainment, and a giant Christmas Tree.

Christmas Lights

To soak in more holiday spirit, Spruce Meadows offers a spectacular Christmas Lights experience free of charge. You can park your car at Lot 7 (west side of the building) and walk through the magical lights alley or drive through. Just enter through the Main Gate at Spruce Meadows Way (east side of Spruce Meadows) and exit via Tournament Lane (west side of Spruce Meadows). Don't forget to stop by a firepit and enjoy some hot chocolate, coffee, and delicious treats!

Tickets and Hours

Admission tickets to Spruce Meadows Christmas Market start at CAD $11 - $16. Tickets go on sale on October 15. The market is open from 12 to 8 pm on Fridays, 10 am to 8 pm on Saturdays, and 10 am to 5 pm on Sundays.
