The Toronto Christmas Market at the historic Distillery District is the largest and most popular in Toronto. Fodor's Travel once named it one of the best Christmas markets in the world. The market looks very cozy and amazes with hand-crafted ornaments, carolers, and a nostalgic carousel. While kids rush to meet Santa, adults can snack on schnitzels and other delicious foods.

The Distillery Winter Village features one of the largest Christmas trees in Toronto, located in Trinity Square, stunning illumination, seasonal decor, and lots of entertainment. There are more than 350 stage performances, vendors selling locally handcrafted goods, and a beer garden.

The Distillery Winter Village attractions

Upon the start of the festive season, children can meet Santa to tell him about their Christmas wishlist and take a picture. Santa is at his residence from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm on weekdays and from 12:30 pm to 8:30 pm on weekends. Santa also makes a stage appearance at the Pure Spirits Courtyard at 5:30 pm.

Other photo ops at the DistilleryWinter Village include the illuminated “Heart of Christmas,” the iconic “Countdown to Christmas” sign, Candy Cane Forest on Gristmill Lane, Santa’s Tower of Toys on the Pure Spirits Patio, as well as 3-D, life-sized greeting cards.

Live entertainment includes various performances by local artists and Candy Cane Carolers with sing-a-longs and holiday classics. The lyrics are projected onto the Spirit of York building for guests' convenience. Carolers perform at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 pm on weekdays and at 2:30, 4:30, 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 on weekends.
