Christmas Made in the South is the premier crafts show that features hundreds of artists and various creators. The annual juried event occurs in late October at Cabarrus Arena and Events Center. More than 400 exhibitors demonstrate their handmade skills and imagination while visitors immerse themselves in the holiday spirit and create positive memories.
Christmas Made in the South is an excellent place for holiday shopping for gifts and seasonal decorations. The show has become one of the favorite traditions in Charlotte. Held since 1981, Christmas Made in the South offers a three-day showcase of the best artisans and craftsmen in the region. Exhibitors offer beautiful pottery, glass-blowing creations, handmade ornaments, apparel, bags, jewelry, and floral centerpieces. You can find paintings, and other fine art in watercolors, oil, and acrylic paint. Plenty of wood and metal works are on display too. For foodies, there are specialty coffees, gourmet cheeses, sweets, and much more.
Great shopping and unique entertainment at the crafts show will suit any taste. Christmas Made in the South runs from 10 am to 6 pm on Friday and Saturday as well as from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Admission is $9 at the door. Children under 12 can get in for free.
