Christmas Made in the South is a unique arts and crafts event held over a weekend in early December at Exchange Park in Ladson, just 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Charleston. Since its inception in 1993, the show has showcased an exceptional selection of contemporary arts and crafts from across the country. Attendees can shop for one-of-a-kind handmade holiday creations while having the opportunity to meet 350 master artists and artisans in person, making it a perfect destination for finding unique gifts and festive decorations.
Hours & Tickets
Christmas Made in the South's operating hours are from 10 am to 6 pm on Friday and Saturday and from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Admission is valid for all three days with a hand stamp. Tickets are priced at $9 for adults at the door, while children aged 12 and under can enter for free. Additionally, attendees can enjoy acres of free parking, making it convenient to explore the holiday festivities.

Christmas Made in the South is dedicated to keeping the world of fine arts and crafts vibrant, featuring exhibitors who will be present all three days to demonstrate and sell their handcrafted works. Visitors will find Santa's elves hard at work, creating a festive atmosphere. The festival's booths are filled with handmade, one-of-a-kind designs, from silk wearables and fabric bags to dichroic glass jewelry and close-up photography of nature's funniest and fiercest creatures.

This nationally acclaimed event is held in several locations across the USA from late October to early December. The season of Christmas Made in the South events opens in Greater Charlotte, North Carolina. Later on, similar fairs are available in Columbus, Macon, and Savannah in Georgia and Jacksonville in Florida. Charleston is the last to have the show.
