Christmas Made in the South is a unique arts and crafts event, taking place over a weekend in early December in Exchange Park, Ladson, 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Charleston. Since 1993, the show has been offering the best selection of contemporary arts and crafts from the whole country. Come to shop for one-of-a-kind handmade holiday creations and meet 350 master artists and craftsmen in person. The hours are 10 am–6 pm on Friday–Saturday and 11 am–5 pm on Sunday. The three-day admission is $9 for adults and free for kids that are 12 and under.

This nationally acclaimed event is held in several locations across the USA from late October to early December. The season of Christmas Made in the South events opens in Greater Charlotte, North Carolina. Later on, similar fairs are available in Columbus, Macon, and Savannah in Georgia and Jacksonville in Florida. Charleston is the last to have the show. You can read more about each festival on the Christmas Made in the South's official website, listed in the External Resources below.
