This town has a cherished tradition: one minute before midnight, a pair of sparkly flip-flops descend over the crowds to mark the beginning of the New Year. The countdown ends with a beautiful drone show over the ocean! Viewing is available from all along the beach and throughout Center Street. Later, at 11:59 pm, the huge, sparkly flip-flops will descend to mark the stroke of midnight and the beginning of the New Year.
