Taking place every February at Metro Toronto Convention Centre, The Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS) is the most awaited event for all car fans in the Greater Toronto Area. Running since 1974, it attracts about 300,000 visitors from all over North America and industry celebrities such as car designer Christian Von Koenigsegg, creator of Koenigsegg Agera S hypercar.
Toronto Autoshow features over 1,000 cars, trucks, SUVs, concept cars, motorcycles, and alternative energy cars. Additionally, there you can find bicycles, rickshaw & spares, electronics, sporting goods, toys, and games. One of the highlights of the show is the annual awards by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) for the Canadian Car and Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year. Every year the Toronto Autoshow has up to 40 new vehicle launches, including North American debuts. Attractions like "50 Years of Hot Wheels" and "70 Years of Porsche" help Toronto Auto-show has set new attendance records.
