Tipp City Mum Festival 2024 in Ohio

The Tipp City Mum Festival takes place every fall in Tipp City, Ohio. Celebrating the fall season with a focus on chrysanthemums (mums), the fest's main events are Antique and Show Car Cruise In and the Tipp City Mum Festival Parade. The festival also features the Queen's Pageant, Motorcycle Ride, Little Mr. And Miss Mum, Run for the Mums 5K Run, and other special events.

Festival Highlights

The festival is attended by about 20,000 people every year. Each year, organizers announce a theme of the festival like "Sixty Years in the Books," "Honoring our Heroes, "Near and Far," "Revving up the Mum," and "All Aboard with the Mums." In 2024, the 65th annual Tipp City Mum Festival will have the theme of "Tippecanoe and Mum Fest Too!"

Program and Schedule

The festival begins with the Mum Festival Motorcycle Charity Ride on August 24, and the Mum Festival Queen will be crowned on Saturday, September 14. Festival weekend events begin Friday, September 27, with the Antique and Show Car Cruise In. It is one of the area's largest car shows and the biggest festival car show in Ohio, featuring over 800 distinctive vehicles.

Mum Festival Parade

On Saturday morning, September 28, the festivities will begin with the Run for the Mums at 8 am in the City Park, followed by the annual Mum Festival parade. The parade route typically travels down Main Street through historic downtown Tipp City. The parade usually begins at 10 am with local and surrounding area bands, floats, and many other entertaining units.

Tipp City Park Attractions

After the parade, attendees can head to the festival at Tipp City Park, situated at the corner of North Third Street and Parkwood Drive. The festival grounds offer arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, and food. Visitors can explore over 250 booths offering fantastic arts and crafts, delicious treats, and a diverse selection of merchants. There also will be a large stage providing performances from the best local talents.
